Croton Resident Killed by Train was 19
The Tuesday afternoon incident is under investigation.

The teenager who died yesterday when he was hit by a Metro-North train at the Croton-Harmon station on the Hudson Line was 19-year-old John Thomas Intrieri, according to the Journal News.
The incident occurred at about 3:45 p.m., MTA authorities said.
Metro-North Train #837, the 2:43 p.m. departure from Grand Central, due in Poughkeepsie at 4:33 p.m., fatally struck the Croton, N.Y., resident on the tracks at Croton-Harmon.

Rush hour Hudson Line trains were delayed by up to 30 minutes as a result of the incident and the police investigation into it.
MTA police are investigating.
