Dennis Carson: Retired Police Officer

Dennis J. Carson, a longtime Ossining, resident died February 6, 2013 at the age of 65. Dennis, who was born and raised in Tarrytown was born on April 26, 1947 to Frank and Frances McCrudden Carson. He graduated from Stepinac High School and Pace University. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1965-1971 in Military Intelligence. Dennis was a Police Officer in the Village of Tarrytown for 20 years, having retired as a Sergeant. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Westchester County Police Emerald Society.

Dennis is survived by his loving daughter Andrea M. Carson of Ossining as well as his sister Barbara Young of Tarrytown and his brother Frank (Pat) of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. His wife Susan (Summers) predeceased his on December 28, 1997.
