Don't Miss: Annual Corn Roast at the Ossining Farmers Market

OSSINING, NY — It's that time of year and our taste buds are already tingling. The free corn roast at the Ossining Market is this Saturday.

Enjoy a fresh-picked ear of corn from the market's farmers, roasted over a charcoal grill and served with all the fixings. Also, Ossining's new Village Manager, Debbie McDonnell, will join the festivities too, so come down to meet her and catch up on village news.

There will be music, too — by Les Hommes de Cave from 10 a.m. to noon.

Also, have you picked up one of their new Ossining Farmers Market reusable shopping bags yet? Stop by the manager’s table to learn the story of these “bags full of good news."

Pick one up for $5, and then head to the picnic tables to customize your bag with fabric markers (or have the kids do it while you shop!). $1 from the sale of each bag goes to Green Ossining.
