Fall Foliage Cruise on the Hudson River

Join Ferry Sloops aboard the “Evening Star” for a sightseeing cruise on the Hudson River on Sunday, September 28. The fundraising cruise will depart from the Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill at 4PM and returning at 7PM.

Enjoy the beautiful color of Fall foliage along the Hudson River as we cruise through the Hudson Highlands, past Jones Pt., Iona Island, Bear Mountain, Fort Montgomery, West Point and Worlds End. The cruise includes a historical commentary and a musical guest, TBA.

The funds raised on the cruise will be used entirely towards the purchase of new sails for the Ferry Sloops boat, “Whimbrel”. This will enable the organization to continue its mission to bring people to the Hudson to sail the waters, learn the history and its environment, so that they can appreciate the river and make a commitment to keep its water cleaner and safer for future generations.

Tickets for the 3-hour fundraiser cruise are only $35 per person. There will be a potluck supper aboard, so please bring a dish to share. Soft drinks, beer & wine will be available for purchase on the boat. You MAY NOT bring your own alcoholic beverages aboard.
