Filomena “Filo” DiSisto, 81- a lifelong resident of Ossining, passed away on Tuesday, January 29,
2019. Filomena was born in Castelmauro, Italy on June 28, 1937 and was the daughter of the
late Angelo and Rose (Sticca) Manicchio.
Filomena loved cooking, vacations in Lake George, and especially “Martha’s”. One could find
her sitting in her chair, looking out of her window, watching over her sons. She enjoyed trips to
the Bronx with her grandchildren and twirling her thumbs.

Mrs. DiSisto is survived by her husband Luigi; her children Vincent (Jennifer), Pete (Cathy),
Flavio, and Rose (Mark) Butkovich; her siblings Giula DiMascia, Maria Manicchio, Anna
Robinson and Giovanni Manicchio; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces
and nephews.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Ann’s Church. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
