Hermann R. Jaensch, 54, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Hermann was born on August 17, 1958 in Milford, CT and was the son of Hans and Elfriede Jaensch. He lived in Croton-on-Hudson in a beautiful home that he built himself for the family he loved so much.
Hermann graduated from Yorktown High School and Cornell University and had worked for more than 20 years at Saunders Trades and Technical High School in Yonkers where he taught Carpentry and Science. He proudly served as an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 28 in Croton. He was an avid road cyclist and bicycle enthusiast.
Hermann is survived by his loving wife Kelly; his two children Henry and Kaity; his parents Hans and Elfriede Jaensch, his sisters Kathy and Diana; his Uncle Henry, Tante Anneliese as well as his loving in-law parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and his many friends.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Theresa’s Church, 1394 Pleasantville Rd., Briarcliff. Interment at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
