Garnell Gunther Sr. of Ossining died on April 2, 2013, he was 71. He was born May 26, 1941 in Salisbury, Maryland to Atwood and Pauline Gunther. Garnell graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree. He worked as a chauffeur for CLC Ambulette Service in Ossining. Garnell is survived by his wife Polly, sons Michael Scott, Garnell Gunther Jr, Eric Gunther, daughters Gloria Scott, Katrina Scott, Kim Gunther, brothers Alvin Gunther, Matthew Gunther, sister Peggy Price, 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6th from 12pm-2pm at 32 State Street, Ossining, where the Service will follow at 2 pm.

The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss. The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets.
