Gilbert D’Andrea, of Ossining, Dies at 91
He was a World War II veteran and owned Gilbert Plastics in Yorktown Heights.

Ossining, NY — Gilbert D’Andrea, a resident of Ossining, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Gilbert was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 22, 1925 and was the son of the late Albert and Rose (Castaldo) D’Andrea, he was 91.
Mr. D’Andrea was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WW II. He was the owner operator of Gilbert Plastics, located in Yorktown Heights. He was a member of St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining.
Gilbert is survived by his four children Raymond (June), Cathleen (David) Tyner, Richard (Donna) and Robert; Nine grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Aileen (MacRoy) and his brother Philip.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM at Dorsey. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining. The Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia Society or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
