Groundswell of Support Grows for Mayor Gearity

Catherine Borgia is the latest Democratic leader to endorse Victoria Gearity's reelection campaign.

Westchester County Legislator Catherine Borgia, who represents Legislative District 9, recently announced she is endorsing Mayor Victoria Gearity for reelection. In a statement, Borgia praised Gearity’s professionalism and experience.

“Victoria is the leader Ossining needs right now: a forward-thinking Mayor with a mind of her own,” Borgia said. “She has kept Ossining moving in a positive direction in a fiscally responsible manner…. I endorse her for reelection for Mayor, along with the entire Democratic ticket for Ossining.”

Borgia, a former Ossining Town Supervisor and Village Trustee, also pointed to Gearity’s recent endorsement from Eleanor’s Legacy, a group that supports Democratic women candidates, as a reason for her support.
