Hudson Veterinary Hospital Joins Paws Crossed Animal Rescue for their Grand Opening
Hudson Vet offers free one year wellness plans for all newly adopted pets from Paws Crossed!

Hudson Veterinary Hospital (HVH) located at 176 North Highland Avenue in Ossining is proud to partner with Paws Crossed Animal Rescue in Elmsford as an official veterinary care provider. Doctors Margolis, Ainspan, Christopher and Tohill, the owners of HVH, stress that animal rescue and adoption are vital services needed to extend quality care to pets and their owners in Westchester County and the surrounding area.

Just over a year ago, the area's only no-kill shelter was forced to close, creating a dire situation for the area's homeless pets. Paws Crossed CEO Jennifer Angelucci, the board of directors, staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to secure an agreement to re-open the shelter on 100 Warehouse Lane in Elmsford, and care for the many resident pets-to-be while the facility has been renovated. While already working to find homes for animals in need, Paws Crossed will have its official grand opening on Saturday, September 17, 2016. The new facility will provide a greatly improved environment for homeless pets to recover and thrive, and a place for those pets to meet and win the hearts of their new pet parents.
In support of Paws Crossed and the new pet parents who adopt from them, HVH will offer a free one-year Wellness Plan. The HVH - Paws Crossed Wellness Plans are specifically designed to complement the vaccinations and treatments given by Paws Crossed prior to adoption, to ensure each animal receives proper follow-up booster vaccinations and a fecal test to detect intestinal parasites. In addition, the HVH - Paws Crossed Wellness Plans allow an unlimited number of free physical examinations during the 1 year plan period, to encourage new pet parents to bring their pet to the veterinarian early if there is any question about their health or well-being, so that problems are not left to linger and worsen before they can be diagnosed and treated. “The HVH - Paws Crossed Wellness Plans are designed to include everything an adopted pet needs to start a new, healthy and happy life,” said Dr. Christopher. Long-time HVH practice manager Kïrsten Harzewski agrees. “Many clients know of my personal involvement with rescue and rehab and the plan is really an amazing way to support our commitment to adoption.”
