Hudson Valley: Hour-By-Hour Forecast For 'Heavy' Snowstorm

The National Weather Service's estimations of snow, rain and wind for the HV nor'easter, broken down county by county.

The fourth nor'easter to hit the Hudson Valley in three weeks is on track to wallop the region, bringing as much as 15 inches of wet, heavy snow and creating the potential for many power outages. The snow should reach the lower Hudson Valley before sunrise Wednesday morning. Still, how far it will extend up the valley is uncertain.

"There will be some surprises as the storm begins to unfold early on Wednesday," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "Buckle up for a bumpy ride, Hudson Valley!"

Putnam, Rockland and Westchester should see the most snow. HVW predicts the cut-off will be sharp, with little to no snow north of I-84.
