Wintry Mix Changes Hudson Valley School Schedules

The overnight wintry mix with its glaze of ice has prompted school district officials across the Hudson Valley to make changes to the Tuesday schedule. Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties are under winter weather advisories.

Total snow accumulations of up to one inch and total ice accumulations of up to a few hundredths of an inch are expected, said the National Weather Service. The advisories end at 10 a.m.
