Joseph Amato, a resident of Ossining, passed  away Sunday March 24th, 2013.  He was born in the Bronx, NY on March 15, 1932 and was the son of Vincent and Angela (Mantovani) Amato. He was 81. Mr. Amato was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a retired Lithographer with Amalgamated Lithographers of America in New York City.   The family services and interment were held on Tuesday, March 26th at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne under the care of in Ossining.

The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss. The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets.
