Jack Wesley Sutton of Ossining died April 29, 2014, he was 81. He was born November 23, 1932 in Ossining to Andrew & Grace (Wesley) Sutton.
Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the Construction field as a Laborer for Local 235 for over 50 years and then retired.
He then spent the last 15 years employed by the Ossining School System as a bus monitor.
His co-worker and friend, Clarence Mosely, and the many children he worked with always brought a smile to his face and much joy to his life.
Jack was pre-deceased by his ex-wife Marian White, son Jack Wesley Sutton Jr., brother Phillip Sutton and sister Renee Sutton. He is survived by his wife Judith of Ossining, sons Paul Sutton of Ossining, Jeffrey Sutton (Felicita) of Ossining, daughter Tanya Sutton of Beacon, brother Eugene R. Sutton, sister Lois N. Dyer, Uncle William Sutton, grandchildren Jay Kuwan Sutton, Christine Bason, Sakeeya Swanigan, Nakeeya Brickhouse, Shamika Brower and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
All services were conducted privately by Leach & Thomas, Inc. as per Mr. Sutton’s wishes and his family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
