James E. Foley: Retired Ossining Police Officer

Jim Foley of Lake Peekskill, formerly of Ossining, died September27, 2015. He was 56.

He was born June 25, 1959 in North Tarrytown to James & Phyllis Foley.

Jim worked as a Corrections Officer for Westchester County Department of Corrections in the penitentiary and later as a Police Officer with the Village of Ossining Police Department, from which he retired.

He enjoyed watching and caring for the birds in his backyard, playing with his dogs, and spending the day on his boat on the Hudson River with friends and family.

Jim is survived by his wife Ana Foley, son Sean Tyler Foley, sisters Claudia Indovino (Joseph) and Patricia Foley-Jones and Aunt Dorothy M. Foley.

He will be reposing Friday October 2nd from 4-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining, interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Putnam SPCA PO Box 850 Brewster, NY 10509.
