Joan B. Reddy: Lifelong Ossining Resident

Joan B. Reddy, 83, a life-long resident of Ossining, NY passed away on January 8, 2015.

She was born on September 18, 1931 in Ossining, NY, daughter of Emile and Meletia (Dunstan) DeBrocky. She married James E. Reddy, Jr. on October 17, 1953 at St. Ann’s Church in Ossining, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother Edward and sister Joyce Ferreira. Joan graduated from Ossining High School in 1949. She was the Senior Operator at Sing Sing Correctional Facility and retired after 25 years. She was a member of the Ossining Senior Citizens Club and served as their Recording Secretary.

Joan is survived by her sons James III (Diane) of Purchase, NY, Thomas (Kara) of Ossining and daughter Barbara also of Ossining; five grandchildren, Brian, Megan (Chris) Piazza, Thomas Jr., Emily and Lauren.

Funeral services are private.
