Joseph B. Vallo, Jr. of Ossining passed away at home on May 26, 2014. He was born in New York, NY on July 3, 1933. He served in the US Army in Korea. He was retired from the US Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Padilla Vallo, sons, Joseph (Ethan), Michael (Mary Chris), Vincent (Gloria), Christopher (Laura), daughter, Melissa Freeman (Joshua), eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his sister Carmela, sister Angelina, brother Jerry and sister Joan. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph B. Vallo, Sr. and Italia Buonanno Vallo, three brothers and two sisters.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Church, 381 N. Highland Ave, Ossining, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association.
