To the Editor:

I enthusiastically support Rob Melstein in his candidacy for the Ossining School Board.

I have known Rob since I graduated from Ossining High School seven years ago. He has the
experience, community involvement and temperament to advocate for students, staff and all
Ossining taxpayers.

Rob will be able to apply pragmatic and common-sense approaches to issues and deliver results
for our children. I have observed Rob to not only have regularly attended board meetings for
the past couple of years, but to be highly engaged and command a good understanding of
school district issues.

Rob is a good listener, collaborative and will bring an independent, non-partisan, fair-minded
perspective to the role. As he is the parent of a young child who attends school in the district,
Rob will be fully invested for years to come.

I trust Rob will continue to support important school board efforts around improving literacy,
expanding skilled trades education and fiscal responsibility.

You can learn more about Rob and his platform on his website RobforBoe.com or RobforBoe on
Facebook.

Please remember to come out on May 17 to Ossining High School to vote for Rob Melstein as a
trustee for Ossining School Board.

While I am currently a Board trustee, this letter represents solely my views as an individual
member and resident of the community and not of the Ossining Board of Education.
