Letter to the Editor: Return Schnecker To The Ossining School Board

Dear Editor,

Please join our family in voting for Frank Schnecker for the Ossining School Board on Tuesday, May 16 th!

I have raised my three children in Ossining, two OHS graduates and one graduating this June. I have resided in the Ossining school district for over 22 years, served two terms on the Ossining School Board and finishing my term this coming June. I have been a public school parent advocate serving as the Executive Director of NYS Allies for Public Education, a coalition of parents and educators representing over 75 organizations across NYS and beyond.

Frank has always led with integrity and determination as a board trustee for Ossining, PNW BOCES, Westchester School Boards Association, and beyond. His ability to advocate locally, regionally, and throughout the state has brought significant resources to our schools. His thoughtful, collaborative work ethic has made him an extremely effective and needed board member. Frank has helped to guide our district through many difficult times by contributing creative and innovative solutions to ensure equitable resources are delivered to all students. He has demonstrated fiscal responsibility all the years he has served. Under his tenure, we have seen the lowest levy increases and of recent no increase in the tax levy.

Frank leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the Ossining community. We are fortunate to have him on the school board and willing to serve another term. Please join my family and me in re-electing Frank Schnecker on Tuesday, May 16th at the OHS Gym to have Frank continue the outstanding work he has already done!
