Meryl (Paula) Riker, a resident of Ossining, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020. Meryl was born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 15, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Paulo and Julia (O’Mahony) Rivera. She was 84.
Meryl moved to the USA in 1949 and resided in Mamaroneck, NY. She graduated from Mamaroneck High School. She married Donald R. Riker on June 14, 1959 at the Ossining United Methodist Church. She was a retired secretary at AMD Middle School in Ossining. She was a member of the Ossining United Methodist Church.
Meryl was known for her baking and her beautiful wedding cakes.

Mrs. Riker is survived by her two daughters, Janice (Richard) Parker and Wendy (Steven) Petrovich; her four grandchildren Megan and Nicole Parker, and Danielle and Julia Petrovich; and her brother James Rivera. She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2012.
Services and interment were held privately.
