New Con Ed Project Begins In Croton-on-Hudson

This one will extend into the fall.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Con Edison has advised village officials that their contractor has begun work on a four-month-plus gas main installation project on Old Post Road North and Albany Post Road.

The work will take place Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

It should take about four months for completion of the gas main installation and service reconnections. Pavement restoration will occur sometime afterward.

Traffic delays may occur due to occasional lane closures along Albany Post Road and Old Post Road North.

Earlier this year, Con Ed did a gas main installation project on Grand Street from Old Post Road South to Harrison Street that had been postponed from the summer of 2022.
