Obituary: Alfonso DeCesaris, Businessman And Painter

Alfonso DeCesaris, 90 of Ossining, New York passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020. Alfonso was born to Alfonso and Maria (DiDonato) DeCesaris on March 3, 1929. Alfonso served in the Army Air Corps.

After the Army he started his own Television Repair Service. He ran his own business until 1992 at which time he retired and began to paint full time throughout the years. He has painted and donated many of his paintings to the Ossining Historical Society and the Ossining Public Library.

Alfonso is survived by his loving wife Giovanna DeCesaris. He is also survived by his two loving daughters Ida Maria and Lina Rosa DeCesaris as well as his cherished granddaughter Arabella DeCesaris.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4 to 8pm at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, 45 South Highland Avenue, Ossining, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 31st, 10am at Saint Anns Catholic Church in Ossining with a burial to follow at Saint Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY.
