Obituary: Anna Lardieri Of Ossining

Anna Lardieri, a longtime resident of Ossining, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020. Anna was born in Sassinoro, Benevento, Italy on November 11, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Modestino and Giuseppina (Polzella) DiSisto. She was 86.
Anna married Aldo Lardieri on October 11, 1962 at the Church of San Michele in Sassinoro, Italy. She moved to Ossining in 1962 where she then settled and raised her family. Mrs. Lardieri was a seamstress at an Ossining Dress Factory, then she worked for A.L. Myers Furniture in Ossining in housekeeping for 10 years. She was then employed by the Maryknoll Fathers Brothers for 24 years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining.

Anna is survived by her husband Aldo; her daughters Maria Conte (Bruce Haberman) and Carmen (Angelo) Manicchio; her grandchildren Nicholas (Jenna Accardi) Conte and Aldo Conte. She was predeceased by her siblings Petronilla Badia, Piantonio DiSisto, and Domenico DiSisto.
The family had a private Visitation, Service and then entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery. The Lardieri family will plan a Memorial Mass at a future date at St. Augustine’s Church. Funeral arrangements were handled by Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Ossining.
