Obituary: Annie M. Prokop Of Ossining
The 95-year-old Ossining native was a 'Rosie the Riveter' during World War II.

Annie M. Prokop, 95, a lifelong resident of Ossining, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.
Annie was born in Ossining on November 22, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Rafael and Consiglia (Lavella) Bertoldi.

Annie was a “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII and worked at Eastern Aircraft in North Tarrytown. She was also a former operator at Bell Telephone until she started her family.
Mrs. Prokop is survived by her two daughters, Carol Prokop (Woodrow Setzer), and Marlene (Pat) Natalo; her 3 grandchildren Anna Setzer, Meredith Conti and Stephen Natalo; and her sister Florence Morini. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1982.

Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-8pm at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am at St. Augustine’s Church. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
