Obituary: John E. Schwamb Of Ossining

John E. Schwamb, 93, of Ossining, passed away Jan. 1, 2021.

He served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from IBM and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to play tennis, golf and pinochle.

John is survived by his children, Robert and Robin Schwamb, Cathy O'Keefe, Christine and Clint Craig. He was the proud grandfather of Melissa, Matthew, Corie, Brian, Christopher, John P., John M., Margaret, Caitlin, Elizabeth and Kara, great-grandchildren, Raychel, Brionna, Snaider, Matthew, Cole, Nora, Emma, Cooper and Stella.

He was predeceased by his wife Doris of 55 years in 2006, grandson, CJ and son-in-law Richard O'Keefe. Graveside service: Saturday at 2pm, Fair Ridge Cemetery, 475 Quaker St. Chappaqua, NY.
