Obituary: Judith Figueroa of Ossining

Judith Figueroa of Ossining, formerly of Santurie, Puerto Rico, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. She was 62.

Born July 20, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Modesta (Mena) Rodriguez.

Judith attended Bronx Community College where she received her R.N. She was a RN at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Judith was an active member of many charities and was always there for her friends and loved ones, when they needed her help. Even though she worked hectic hours, she found a way to be the best Mother and Wife she could be.

Judith is survived by her husband Fermin Jr.; her son Fermin III; her granddaughter Zenelle and her nephew Santiago Rodriguez. Judith requested that everyone celebrate her life, and not mourn at this unfortunate time.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Ossining. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Ann’s Church, 25 Eastern Ave. Ossining. The interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx.
