Mrs. Ashley was an aide with Cedar Manor Nursing Home until her retirement.

Maria Ashley, a longtime resident of Ossining, passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at Phelps Memorial Hospital. Maria was born in Bombay, India on May 3, 1947.
Maria moved to the US and settled in Ossining and was employed at Brandywine Nursing Home. She met her husband Glenville in 1973 and they married in 1975.

Maria was well known for her Indian and Jamaican Cuisine. She was always advising her son David and his friends about life with words of wisdom. She enjoyed knitting.
Mrs. Ashley was an aide with Cedar Manor Nursing Home until her retirement around 2000. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church.

Maria is survived by her son David, in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family had a private service and interment at Dale Cemetery.
