Obituary: Marie Siciliano Navarro

Marie Siciliano Navarro – a resident of the Bronx passed away on September 22, 2020. Marie was born in Bari, Italy on September 22, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Rocco and Rosa (Regina) Siciliano.

Marie was a devout Catholic with unwavering faith and prayed the Rosary. If Marie was praying for you it was like she had a direct line to our Lord. She loved her family, and was passionate about cooking. Marie would cook and everyone in her building would receive dishes of her delicious food.

Marie is survived by her children Joseph (Rachel) Giampietro, Rocco (Lourdes) Giampietro and Maria Navarro; Her three siblings Maria Venusio, Giacomo Siciliano and Maddalena Colasuonna; Five grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan (Amanda), Nicholas, Giovana and Emily Giampietro; great grandson Santino. She was predeceased by Francesco Siciliano, Michele Siciliano and Vito Siciliano.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at St. Ann’s Church. Entombment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings. Funeral arrangements were handled by Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Ossining
