Obituary: Modestino Conte Of Ossining

Modestino Conte of Ossining, NY passed away on January 13, 2022. He was 86.

Mr. Conte worked as a laborer for many years and enjoyed gardening. He was born in Sassinoro, Italy on March 26, 1935, son of Francesco and Teodora D’Uva Conte.

Mr. Conte is survived by one son Frank, two brothers Val and Emilio, two sisters Vitangela Santucci and Fernanda Capo, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Family members who died earlier include his wife Vera, son Mario and daughter Dora.

Following the funeral Mass Tuesday, January 18, 2022, St. Augustine Church, Ossining at 10 a.m., interment at St. Augustine Cemetery.
