Obituary: Services Sunday For Victor Flores Gonzalez

Victor Flores Gonzalez, a 49-year resident of Ossining passed away on Thursday, April 11,
2019 at his residence after a long illness. Victor was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico on March
8, 1939 and was the son of Florentino and Santo (Gonzalez) Flores.

Victor moved to Thornwood in 1958 and then moved to Ossining in 1970.He was the former
owner/operator of V.F. General Cleaning in Ossining. Victor married Maximina Santiago on
January 7, 1960 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. He was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Ossining.

Victor was the loving husband of Maximina; he was the devoted father of Victor M. (Cheryl)
Flores and Maribel (Rafael) Serrano; his two sisters Maria (Rafael) Ortiz and Bertina (Jose)
Hernandez; he was the loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He
was predeceased by his daughter Nydia Flores in 1997.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in
Ossining, with the services at the funeral home to follow at 6:00 pm. The interment will take
place in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
