Obituary: Theresa Wright Of Ossining

Theresa Wright, a lifelong resident of Ossining, passed away on Aug. 8, 2020. She was the daughter of Laurence and Kathleen (O’Brien) Wright.

Terry was a lifelong Yankee fan and a member of St Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Croton-On-Hudson for 20 years. She was a retired Postal worker at Katonah, Briarcliff, Croton and Maryknoll post office. She spread laughter wherever she went.

Terry is survived by her wife Carole Nelson, her mother Kathleen, and 3 sisters Kathleen Love( Jonathan Shipman), Elaine Wright (George Krajca), Denise Wright; niece Grace Schneider and nephew Jake Schneider; her stepchildren Tom(Cathy) Johannes, Kevin(Jen) Johannes; 4 step grandchildren Tommy, Ally, Daphne and Sully and many beloved friends.

The family is very grateful to the staff at Ossining Bethel Nursing home and Northern Westchester Hospital.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to St Augustine’s Episcopal Church or the Ken Hamilton caregivers center (KHCC) @ Northern Westchester Hospital would be appreciated!
