William Douglas Evans - 70- Passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 in Hunter Mountain, NY, while trout fishing. Doug was born in Ossining on May 21, 1948 and was the son of William James and Edna (Woolsey) Evans.
Doug was a graduate of Ossining High School and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a local Licensed Electrician and a retired Lieutenant with the White Plains Fire Department. Doug was a avid fresh and salt water fisherman. He also enjoyed both large and small game hunting.

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife Nancy (DiSisto); his sons John (Heather) and Scott; his four brothers James, Gary, Kenneth (Georgina) and Robert (Susan); and 3 grandchildren Jenna, Scott and Ava Evans.
Memorial Visiting hours will be held at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Ossining on Saturday April 20th from 12:00 -2:20 pm. Military Honors will take place at the funeral home chapel at 2:20 pm, followed by the Memorial Service at 2:30 pm at Dorsey.
