Octavis Cleveland: Ossining Resident

Octavis Cleveland of Ossining died suddenly on November 13, 2015, she was 87 years old.

She was born October 12, 1928 in Fayetteville, NC to David and Maggie (Brown) Murphy.

Octavis worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She was pre-deceased by her husband Edward, who died last year. She is survived by her sisters Annie Murphy & Mattie Hemingway, brother Willie Murphy and a host of nieces & nephews.

Octavis will be buried with her husband at Calverton National Cemetery on Friday November 20, 2015. Arrangements are being handled by Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining, NY 10562.
