Ossining's Belitz signs with Marist to play baseball
Ossining senior Matt Belitz signed his National Letter of Intent with Marist on Nov. 9. Belitz is a two-year starter going into his senior year.

"He is one of the top defensive shortstops in the area and our offensive catalyst from the leadoff spot," Ossining coach Bill Casey said. "He is a tireless worker and one of the top leaders on our squad that went 14-9 last season, won our in 26 years with a 9-1 record and advanced to the AA quarterfinals after upsetting fourth-seeded John Jay 9-8."

Tamburri honored on senior night at Iona College
Croton-on-Hudson resident and former Hendrick Hudson volleyball star Nicole Tamburri, who helped lead the Sailors to two state titles in 2006 and 07, took her game to the next level at Iona College.
That's where, along with Gaels teammate Molly O'Shea, she was honored at senior night on Nov. 12.
Croton competes in fall baseball
Two Croton teams competed in the Weschester Putnam Baseball Association's fall league. The 11-year-olds were 7-5 and 10-year-olds finished 6-6.
