Ossining Farm Begins 'Chickstarter' Campaign
The folks at Fable: Farm To Table are trying to raise money so they can raise more chickens for locavores.
OSSINING, NY — The folks at Fable: Farm To Table are launching a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. And it's got a great name.
"We currently have 200 egg-laying hens and started raising 50 baby chicks in December," said Tom Deacon. "We are looking to raise an additional 300-400 baby chicks who will start laying come Spring."
Fable: From Farm To Table opened in 2015. Its owners hope to become one of the largest chicken farms in Westchester.
