The Ossining High School Human Rights Club is hosting a forum with U.S. Rep. Mondaire Jones at 11 a.m. this Friday.

Students have invited the freshman lawmaker to talk about his life and his work in Congress since taking office in January 2021, including as a member of the House Committee on Education and Labor.

They invited the congressman to have their voices heard on issues facing young people and the greater community. Rep. Jones, who represents Ossining and other parts of Westchester County, along with all of Rockland County, is one of the first two openly gay Black men elected to Congress.
