It's been 101 years since World War I ended on Nov. 11, 1918. In honor of Veterans Day, Ossining's Central Committee of Organized War Veterans will hold its annual Communities Veterans Day Celebration on Monday.
It starts at 10 a.m. with a memorial mass at St. Augustine's Church on North Highland Avenue.
At 11 a.m. there will be a memorial ceremony at Nelson Park. The veterans' memorials are in the northeast corner.

While it is a national day, on Monday, Bee-Line buses and Paratransit will operate on a weekday schedule.
