Ossining Man Accused Of Slashing Truck Tires

The Putnam Sheriff's Office alleges a long-standing motive.

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reports the arrest of a 55-year-old Ossining man accused of slashing truck tires at a Philipstown business.

The business owner contacted the Sheriff’s office April 26 and reported that three of his trucks had been damaged. Deputy Sheriff Benjamin Levine responded and the next day, after an investigation, arrested Manuel D. Lema, 55, of Ossining.

Lema allegedly has been in an almost decade-long dispute with the business owner, police said.
