A program for Pride Month will take place June 4 at Ossining Village Hall. The event will include a brief history of the significance of the Stonewall Uprising which is commemorating its 50th anniversary this year, affirmation of Ossining as an inclusive community, and inspiring words from leaders in the LGBTQ community and elected officials.

In anticipation of the event, Mayor Victoria Gearity noted, "In a moment when the presidential administration is dismantling policies protecting the LGBTQ community, it is even more important that Ossining sends a clear message of unity and inclusion for all people."
