Rita Brown (Baccari), a lifelong resident of Ossining, died May 15. She was 80.
Rita was born Oct. 18, 1930 to John Thomas and Rita (Kelley) Pearson.
Rita was a graduate of Ossining High School class of 1948. She was a former study hall teacher at Ossining High School. She was a retired teller with the Bank of New York.

She was a former longtime volunteer at Phelps Hospice with the Auxiliary.
Rita is survived by her children Nancy Rowe, Thomas, Philip and John (Carol) Baccari; her sister Shirley (George) Dahlke; her stepchildren Jennifer DiSisto, Christopher, and Timothy Brown; 10 grandchildren; her niece Marybeth Foley; and nephews Lawrence and David Dahlke.

The funeral Mass was at St. Theresa’s Church and burial was in St. Augustine Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining.
