Robert P. Vincent: Ossining Firefighter for more than 50 Years
A memorial service will be held in the spring.

Robert P. Vincent, a lifelong resident of Ossining, NY passed away December 17, 2015. He was 89.
Bob was a partner with his brother in a commercial and residential landscaping Company, J.F. Vincent, Inc., in Ossining.
He was born July 30, 1926 in Ossining to John and Emma Fredericks Vincent. Bob served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion. On May 26, 1951 he married Constance “Connie” Smith at the First Baptist Church, Ossining.

He was a member of Independent Hose Co. #6 of the Ossining Volunteer Fire Dept for over 50 years. He served as Chief of Dept from 1961-1962 and many years as a Deputy Fire Chief.
Mr. Vincent will be remembered for his passionate love for his home, his yard, family and friends. He also volunteered for the Guiding Eyes for the Blind for over ten years.

He is survived by his wife Constance and Daughter Betsy.
