
Dominick Robert Badia, a lifelong resident of Ossining died on November 2, 2015. He was 61 years old.
Dominick was born February 18, 1954 in Ossining to Frank and Petronilla (Penny) Badia. As a young boy Dominick was an old soul. He grew up and worked in the Italian section of Ossining known as the “Hollow”. He was a fixture in the Italian community and the liaison for the older generation to his generation.
He was a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School. Dominick retired after 31 years with the Westchester County Department of Corrections. He was a 38 year member of the Cataract Hose Company #2.

Besides his father Frank, Dominick is survived by his wife Doris, children, Fred, Frank and Penny, sisters Mary Badia, Kim Santucci and Teresa (Steve) Rinaldi, nieces and nephews, Modesto, Pasquale, Marissa, Victoria, Michangelo (Mikey) and Giovanni.
He was predeceased by his mother Petronilla (Penny) Badia and brother in law, Carmelo Santucci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10 AM at St. Ann’s Church in Ossining. Interment will follow at the St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Ossining. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dominick’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 2 Lyon Place, White Plains, NY 10601.
