Service for John Laguzza

N. John Laguzza, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015.

John was born in Poughkeepsie January 1, 1928 and was the son of Salvatore & Filamena (DeFiglio) Laguzza.

John was an accountant and worked with N.Y. Area Accounting Firms. He was a member of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, 9th grand cross with palm. He was coordinator of the Seminarian Scholarship Fund; an Affiliate of the Franciscan Friars of Atonement; a fifteen year chairman of the Italian Postulate of the Archdiocese of New York. John was a longtime parishioner of St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining.

John is survived by his wife Elizabeth and son Gian-Carlo (Kim), Christina Erickson, 8 grandchildren, his sister Concetta Laguzza.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine’s Church, Ossining. Interment at St. Augustine Cemetery.
