Mauro Manicchio of Ossining passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was 73 years old.
Mauro was born in Castelmauro, Italy on March 20th, 1943 to Angelo & Rosa (Sticca) Manicchio. Mauro was a dedicated member of the Ossining Community working for the Ossining Union Free School District Building and Grounds for 31 years, retiring in August 2005, and was also a 50-year member of the Christopher Columbus Lodge #692.
He was predeceased by his brothers Nicola, Antonio, and Francesco. Mauro is survived by wife Elisabetta, son Tony (Michele), son Mike (Nicole), grandchildren Mariella and Julianna, brother Giovanni, sisters Giula DiMascia, Filomena (Luigi) DiSisto, Maria Manicchio, Anna Robinson, mother-in-law Assunta Conte, brother-in-law Arcangelo (Marisa) Conte, sister-in-laws Celestina and Carmina Manicchio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who love him dearly.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 am at St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery. Leach & Thomas, Inc. handled arrangements.
