Assemblywoman Sandy Galef speaks with Linda Cooper, Regional Director of the NYS Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation and Joe Stout, Executive Director of the Westchester Parks Foundation, about what is happening with state and county parks on “Speak Out with Sandy Galef: We Love Our NYS and County Parks.”
Cooper, Stout and the Assemblywoman discuss the recent funding by Governor Cuomo and the legislature granted to many parks locally as well as in the general New York State area, and the specific areas that the money has been allocated to. They also discuss the economic benefits to the region that these parks bring and the health benefits visitors can experience.
Galef comments, “It was such fun talking with Linda and Joe about our parks. I hope this conversation encourages my viewers to get out and experience the beautiful terrains New York State has to offer.
