Assemblywoman Galef talks with Tax Watch columnist David McKay Wilson
Assemblywoman Sandy Galef speaks with David McKay Wilson, a columnist for The Journal News, on her television program, “Speak Out.” David McKay Wilson has been at The Journal News since 1986 and has written articles on topics ranging from the City Hall in New Rochelle to education. He started his “Tax Watch” column in 2012.
Wilson opens up about the different policies that are affecting our area. He gives insight to the inner working of the different taxes problems that exist. He talks about the special treatment that some counties are receiving, regarding the state’s property taxes and also the plan about the Westchester Airport. Finally, Wilson shares his upcoming plans for his column and what the people should be looking forward to.
“I truly enjoy reading Wilson’s articles in the Journal News,” said Galef. “He is able to provide a great understanding on how taxes are incorporated in most government issues.”
