She was born on February 1, 1960 to Donald and Dorothy (Johnston) Sherman in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Susan is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Gelman and their daughter Alison Rose Gelman. She is also survived by her stepmother, Phyllis M. Sherman and siblings, Julie (Dave) Brumsted, Elizabeth (Robert) Pezanowski, William Tryon and John Sherman. The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss. The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets. For the foodie’s festival foods of all kinds will be available including food trucks. Music will be located at the Gazebo on Main Street.
