Thomas P. Henry

Mr. Henry was a Partner with Augustin Partners LLC in New York City.

Thomas P. Henry, 61, passed away on Sunday, May 15 after a battle with cancer.
Born in Manchester, CT to Thomas and Ellen (Lahey) Henry, he is survived by his wife, Diane (Thomas) Henry; his mother Ellen Henry; brother Robert Henry; children Michael, Alisa, and Adam Henry; grandchildren Josephine, Colin, and Cadel Henry; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tom graduated from Manchester High School in 1967 and went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  Following his military service, he graduated from Central Connecticut State University and pursued a career in private and public taxation, becoming a Supervisory Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, a Partner in one of the largest international taxation firms in the world, a Principal with a New York accounting and consulting firm, and until his death was a Partner with Augustin Partners LLC in New York City.

Tom was beloved by those who knew him and his family and friends looked to him for guidance, support, and humor.  He was a man of grit, energy, and integrity, who was as adept at building as stonewall or framing a doorway as he was with complicated matters of taxation.  His deep love for family and friends, passion for life, quick wit, personality, sharp intellect, practical sense, and moral compass set him apart.  He was taken too soon and will be sorely missed.

Visiting hours were  held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Church of the Assumption, 29 South Adams Street, Manchester, CT, 06040. Interment East Cemetery in Manchester.  Donations in Tom's honor can be made to your local Salvation Army.
