Village Board Promotes Three In The Ossining Police Department

The trustees voted on the department's recommendations at a special meeting Wednesday.

The Village of Ossining is pleased to announce three promotions within the Ossining Police Department for the following officers:

  • Police Lieutenant Appointment - Andrew J. Maiorana
  • Police Sergeant Appointment - Jafeth A. Chavez
  • Appointment of Police Officer Addison J. Chavez to Detective

During a Special Meeting held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted for each promotion. Mayor Rika Levin administered each oath of office while beloved family performed the ceremonial badge pinnings.
