August 13, 2021
Con Edison has advised the Village that their contractor has begun a gas main installation project on Albany Post Road just south of Warren Road. The work will take place Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., and is expected to take about four weeks for completion of the gas main installation and service reconnections. Pavement restoration will occur sometime afterward. The contractor will also be storing some equipment in Gouveia Park during this project. Please take this into consideration when visiting Gouveia Park. Traffic delays may also occur due to occasional lane closures along Albany Post Road.
If you have questions about the upcoming work, or concerns about private facilities buried in your lawn, such as sprinkler lines or electric dog fences, please email CustomerQuestions@conEd.com and reference the job identification number WG20005507.
